Precast Sales Engineer / Project Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage project activities from quoting to product delivery.
• Perform project takeoffs and price estimates.
• Create and maintain bid lists.
• Work with engineers and specifiers on product design.
• Manage shop and submittal drawings of products for contractors and engineers.
• Manage and/or create production drawings.
• Work with scheduling, production, and quality control personnel to ensure products are scheduled timely and manufactured correctly.
• Analyze and communicate project statuses and forecasting.
• Provide support to outside sales representatives and managers.
• Willingness to be cross-trained to fill in for other office positions as needed.

• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office software.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction project management, manufacturing, or business background.
• Experience reading project plans and specifications.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel to/from office to customer/jobsite/office.
• Ability to climb in and around concrete structures, as needed.

Schedule

• Full-time position with standard business hours.
• Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required.
