Precast concrete Curb inlets

Precast Concrete Curb Inlets

Like the Catch Basin, Gillespie Curb Inlets, also known as COG’s, generally play an integral role in the management of storm drainage run-off. COG’s are designed to prevent the ponding of rain water, melting snow or ice. The precast concrete drop curb inlet collects the surface run-off which is then managed efficiently, and effectively for parking lots, highways, roadways, and bridges.

The drop inlet structure has a throat opening and face plate in most configurations, is the top portion of the overall structure. We manufacture numerous lengths of “throat opening” from 2.5’ to 20’, and are approved for several states’ specifications, like Maryland and Virginia. Each state has slightly distinctive designs. Typically, the precast curb inlet structure consists of the throat top, flattop, and the below-ground compartment.

Gillespie Precast manufactures a comprehensive line of curb inlets that meet all compulsory regulations and standards. However, with our century of precast knowledge and expertise, we can customize and design solutions to fit any drainage requirement.
