"I just wanted to take a moment to give a big shout out to all the drivers that delivered to our school site in Trenton, NJ today. (Bret, Phil, Scott and the Gillespie folks too!) On and around the site today we encountered several logistical and egress challenges. With frustration rising on and off the site – each of the drivers remained cool, calm and worked as team in getting delivery vehicles on/off the site and unloaded. In the end, everything (all 5 units) was safely and successfully offloaded and set before 12:30 PM. The History of the gillespie businesses

In 1922, George Edward Gillespie laid the foundation for what would become a lasting family legacy creating concrete blocks for a milk house on his small Sudlersville farm. Recognizing a growing need in the community, he brought his son Victor into the business, and together they established Gillespie & Son, Inc, moving operations to Chestertown, MD. As demand continued that vision has grown into a trusted family of companies five generations strong—Gillespie & Son, Inc, DCS and Gillespie Precast LLC—serving the Mid-Atlantic with unmatched quality in ready-mix and precast concrete. With three NPCA-certified plants and a century of craftsmanship behind them, the Gillespie family continues to lead with heart. Every product is manufactured with care, every delivery is on time, and every customer and employee is treated like family—because to the Gillespie's, they are.
