Gillespie Precast teamed with Rotundo Environmental Solutions to produce a storm pod detention system for Fairmont Heights High School. The storm pod system is a modular, single-chambered, precast concrete groined arch system that is engineered for underground installation. Storm pod utilizes a proven arch design to provide the lowest cost system with the highest strength and durability. Gillespie precast manufactured and delivered an entire storm pod system encompassing 379 pods in under 4 months.
