Overview
The Manager of Information Technology at Gillespie Precast oversees all aspects of the company’s digital infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, business systems, manufacturing technology, and end-user support. This role ensures that technology aligns with Gillespie Precast’s growth, production goals, compliance needs, and operational efficiency across multiple offices and plant locations.

Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic IT Leadership
- Develop and execute company-wide IT strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Build technology roadmaps for infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity, and cloud adoption.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across all sites.
- Manage MSP relationships (including Prelude) with internal governance and oversight.
2. Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Oversee on-premises servers, HA systems, storage, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Maintain secure inter-site connectivity, VLAN segmentation, and firewall policies.
- Manage modernization projects and hardware lifecycle planning.
3. Network Architecture
- Architect and maintain network infrastructure.
- Design and manage VLANs for computers, printers, phones, Wi-Fi, cameras, and IoT.
- Optimize network performance across offices, plants, and yard areas.
4. Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Implement MFA (Duo), identity lifecycle, and access governance.
- Monitor and mitigate security threats.
- Ensure secure SharePoint/OneDrive file access.
- Lead incident response and compliance initiatives.
5. Business Applications & Cloud Services
- Manage Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange.
- Support internal LOB applications and custom GP tools.
- Develop SharePoint workflows, internal portals, and resource pages.
6. Website & Digital Presence Management
- Oversee company website hosting, SSL, and security.
7. Innovation, Automation & Custom Development
- Develop custom automations.
- Build internal tools such as staff.json, dashboards, surveys, and automated backup utilities.
8. User Support & Department Operations
- Oversee daily IT support across all GP locations.
- Manage hardware refresh cycles, imaging, onboarding, and training.
- Lead budgeting, vendor relations, asset tracking, and IT policies.
